Future Road Trips
My wife and I love to travel, and last year we went to extremes. We went to Iceland, and then to Anguilla in the British West Indies. Night and Day I’m telling you.
I bought her a high performance German ride, which she didn’t like; so she gave it back to me. She’s a truck-driving woman. Anyway, not only is my new ride fun to drive, it’s comfortable, the perfect “road trip” car. I’ve got most of the bells figured out, but not the whistles. I’m ready for a shakedown cruise, so to speak.
We’re thinking a couple of “no rush” road trips might work.
The New England bed and breakfast tour? Cival War Battlefields? Beautiful country, but those folks talk funny.
The eastern coast from NC, SC, to Savannah, St. Augustine, and then FL, AL, MS (southern route) following the coast to New Orleans? New Orleans is the Catdaddy!
Or, we could break for the Prairies.
We’re thinking these will be about eight - ten days each, so we can’t realistically go west of the Mississippi. Too bad, I’ve done that, and it is spectacular.
Any ideas?
But then again, we might go to Euorpe, or Austrailia.

Three-Cornered Hat
My wife is a “Daughter of the Mayflower”
I am a “Son of the Revolution”
A few years ago, we flew to DC and met some friends for a long weekend of doing the tourist thing. It was October, and the fall foliage was perfect. Everyday was cool, crisp, and windy, with clear blue skies. We didn’t rent a car; we took a million dollar cab ride from Dulles to a hotel next door to the National Air and Space Museum. Home base. We did the Zoo, all the museums, all the monuments, the Capital, etc., and even managed to get over to Annapolis for a day. We ate like kings. We drank like the riff-raff we are. We had a great time.
Anyway, my wife hadn’t been to DC since she was a little girl child, and when we were inside the rotunda in the Capital, she said it looked different. Said she remembered something in the middle. After she called her mother, it was confirmed that something was in fact, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lying in State.
We were in the National Museum of American History, when she started screaming. I thought she was being mugged, and immediately broke for her. Well, she wasn’t under attack, but she was looking at a Three-Cornered Hat worn by Colonel Jonathon “Her Maiden Name” of the Connecticut Militia during the Revolutionary War. How cool is that? He was her great…great…great…great…great…whatever Grandfather. Her family didn’t know it was part of the Smithsonian Institution Collection, much less on display.
Small World.

Is It A Grilled Cheese, Or Is It Elvis?
My wife and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday, and something very weird happened.
After I’d prepared Eggplant Parmesan, I noticed Elvis was on the stove. This photograph of the “wooden spoon towel” proves it.
I’m putting this one on E-Bay for 50 grand.
I’ll cut you a deal if use this post as a coupon.

I Have Felt The Earth Move
This, my friends, is a Saturn V rocket that was used throughout the NASA Apollo program. It enabled the US to win a decisive victory in the space race with the USSR.

I’ve witnessed, first hand, many of the Apollo launches, both day and night, and I’m here to tell you…when they light this puppy up, it is a sight to behold. Standing on a concrete overpass several miles away, I was almost knocked over.
I have felt the Earth move.

Mullahs, Bombs, and Lies
For the mullahs, the bomb is so important they are obligated to lie to us and that is what they are doing. They are looking us in the eye and lying their teeth off and they're not going to breathe easy until they've lied long enough and hard enough that they've bought enough time to finish their bomb.
We would do well to remember understand this.
Seriously!

Routine Software Upgrade
Windows does it again.
I've never been a huge fan of Windows, except on a personal computer where losing your data is not the end of the world. As far as I'm concerned, the Brits asked for it. Anyone who uses Windows for the backbone of any type of network, or for any mission critical application, is just plain crazy.
There are so many better options.
With every new Windows operating system release, there are so many bugs that Microsoft must release "Service Packs". These service packs, when applied, generally break more than they fix. What's going on with that?
As Windows evolves, so must your pocketbook; it's got to get bigger. Windows is such a resource hog, that more often than not, to retain the same power you had before you were forced to upgrade, you'll need to upgrade your hardware. You'll also need to upgrade the office suite or applications to take advantage of the benefits, most of which you don't need, of the latest Microsoft products.
Once you commit to Microsoft products, they've got you. Get out the checkbook, and be prepared for some major headaches. That's just the way it is.
Some free advice for Windows surfers: Lose Internet Explorer, and get Firefox...right now...it's free. Ask any "power surfer", or "blogger", or anyone who works for a company that utilizes an "Intranet" for inter-company communications.
I put bread on my table by administering a *NIX network with a *NIX relational database and a *NIX based Intranet. This would not be possible using Windows. Why do you think that 99% of world-wide internet connectivity does NOT use Windows? Because it is NOT stable, that's why.
IMHO, the major problem with Windows is that the Graphical User Interface (GUI) is part of the Kernel (Operating System Core), so when there is a problem and the machine freezes hard, you have to reboot or power off. AKA, the blue screen of death. With a more well thought out and advanced operating system, the GUI is only an application running on top of the OS. If you have a problem, you just kill the misbehaving application, and be done with it. You should NEVER have to reboot or power off a computer to clear a "software" problem. NEVER, EVER.
I say Windows is a "checkbox" OS, which gives the user no control. I know it scares most people, but the "command line" is your best friend, and I don't mean a DOS command line. Kill -1-9 works EVERYTIME. No exceptions.
My shit runs underwater.
I'm just saying.

A Smart Lawyer
A Charlotte, NC lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against fire, among other things. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy, the lawyer filed claim against the insurance company.
In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.
The lawyer sued.. and WON!!!
In delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer "held a
policy from the company in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable fire" and was obligated to pay the claim.
Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company
accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the rare cigars lost in the "fires".
NOW FOR THE BEST PART..
After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!!
With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.
This is a true story and was the First Place winner in the recent Criminal Lawyers Award Contest.

Thanks Jack.
This full page ad was placed in the Washington Post by a businessman named George J. Esseff, Sr. He paid $104,655.60 to run the ad and only did it because he is sick and tired of the way that "The Rich" are portrayed by liberals these days. It is a great read! You're a Republican???
In today's America, ask a growing number of high school and college students; their teachers and professors; the self-anointed media elite and/or hard working men and women of all ethnicity's, the question, "What is a Republican?", and you'll be told "... a rich, greedy, egotistical individual, motivated only by money and the desire to accumulate more and more of it, at the expense of the environment, the working poor ... and all whom they exploit..."
I am a Republican . I am none of those things ... and I don't know any Republicans who are.
WHAT I, AM. first and foremost, is a loving husband of some 52 plus years, the father of four and an American who's proud of his country... and his country's heritage.
WHAT I AM .. is the grandson of immigrants who risked everything, including their lives and those of their children, to escape tyranny in search of freedom.
WHAT I AM . is a man who grew up during the Depression and witnessed, first hand, the effects of the Stock Market crash and the soup lines that followed. I watched as both my parents and grand parents, who had very little themselves, share what food they had with a half dozen other families, who had even less.
WHAT I AM .. is someone who worked his way through college by holding down three and four jobs at a time and then used that education to build a better life.
WHAT I AM . is a husband who, at age 24, started his own business for the "privilege" of working 60, 70 and 80 hours a week, risking everything I had, including my health, in search of a better life for myself and my loved ones.
WHAT I AM .. is a businessman whose blood, sweat and tears.... and plenty of them..., made it possible for me to provide a secure living, not only for my family and myself, but also for literally hundreds of my employees throughout the years. Employees, who in turn, were able to buy their own homes, raise their own families and give back to their communities and their country.
WHAT I AM .. is a man who believes in God; a God who has blessed this country... and all for which it stands.
WHAT I AM .. is someone who knows, if you doubt miracles exist in today's world, you need only to look into the face of those who received them ... and the eyes of those who give them.
WHAT I AM .. is an American who's proud that his President embraces a belief in God; proud of a President who understands, as "politically incorrect" as it may be, there is evil in this world and for the security and safety of all freedom loving people everywhere, it must be confronted ... and it must be defeated.
WHAT I AM .. is an American who takes comfort in the knowledge that our President refuses to allow decisions concerning the very safety and security of this nation, to be governed by the political whims of foreign governments.
WHAT I AM .. is tired of hearing from leading Democrats who see only negativity in America; racism in her people; class warfare in her society and "political incorrectness" in her character.
WHAT I AM .. is a former democrat who now understands that it is the soldier and not the reporter that guarantees us our freedoms of press, speech and dissent.
WHAT I AM .. is a man who believes in the sanctity of life. A man who is
Repulsed by the pandering of the political left for votes, at the expense of the unborn.
WHAT I AM .. is a husband and father who believes in the sanctity of marriage and the preservation of the family unit.
WHAT I AM .. is a movie go-er who is repulsed by those insecure, socially inept, elementary thinking, ego-inflated "entertainers" who have appointed themselves "experts" in the fields of national security and geo-politics and then use their forum to attack this nation, its leaders and its actions ... much to the delight and encouragement of our enemies.
WHAT I AM .. is an American who understands the difference between "Censorship" and "choice." Evidently, these individuals do not, because when these same "celebrities" receive public ridicule for their offensive actions, the first thing they yell is "Censorship!". What they seem incapable of understanding is ... the right of free speech and dissent is shared equally by those offended ... as well as those who offend. I support and will continue to support those films and performers whom I choose to ... and refuse to support those I don't. It is my right as an American .. a right I will continue to enthusiastically exercise.
WHAT I AM .. is a voter, tired of politicians, who, every time their voting records are subjected to public scrutiny, try to divert attention from their political and legislative failures by accusing their opponents of "attack ads" and "negative campaigning." .. and the news media who allow them to get away with it.
WHAT I AM ... is a Catholic who loves his God and his Faith ... and who's been taught to respect all religions whose teachings are based in love, peace and charity. As such, I am embarrassed and ashamed of those individuals, in both private and public life, whose decisions and actions are devoid of any sense of character or morals; individuals who are only driven by what's best for them ... rather than what's right ... often times at the expense of many ... including our national security.
WHAT I AM .. is a realist who understands that the terrorist attack that murdered hundreds of innocent Russian children could have occurred here, in our heartland. That's why I sincerely believe America needs now, more than ever, a President who sees with a clear and focused vision and who speaks with a voice when heard by both friend and foe alike, is understood, respected and believed.
WHAT I AM .. is eternally grateful to Ronald Reagan for having the bravery to speak out against Communism and the courage of his convictions in leading the fight to defeat it; and George W. Bush for the vision, courage, conviction and leadership he has shown in America's war on terrorism amidst both the constant and vicious, personal and political attacks both he and his family are made to endure.
WHAT I AM .. is a human being, full of numerous faults and failures, but a man nonetheless, who, though not always successful, has continually strived to do "what's right" instead of "what's easy." A man who is challenging the religious leaders of all faiths, to not only preach to their congregations the fundamentals of "what's right" and "what's wrong," but to also then hold them accountable for their actions in both the public and private sectors.
WHAT I AM .. is disgusted with the Courts who, on one hand, call the murder of a pregnant woman a "double homicide" but then refer to the abortion of her baby as, "pro-choice."
WHAT I AM .. is someone deeply troubled by a political party which embraces a candidate whose primary "leadership" qualities center around his protesting of the Vietnam war and his labeling the honorable men and women who fought in it, (50,000 of whom gave their lives in that action), as rapists, and war criminals. That same political party then stepped forward this year to block the appearance of a true Vietnam war hero, retired Admiral and former United States Senator, Jeremiah Denton, (a man who spent seven years and seven torturous months in a North Vietnam prison), from speaking before an open session of the California legislature as part of that state's 4th of July celebration. The reason Democrats gave for refusing to allow this American hero to speak before their state legislature was because of the "conservative" nature of his views. As an American, that troubles me deeply ... as well it should you.
WHAT I AM .. is a man who feels the need to spend, $104, 655.60,(tax paid) of his own money, to purchase this advertisement, in order to set the story traight. Some may say this money would have been better spent feeding the world's poor. At the risk of sounding self-serving, as an American and as a Republican, for the last six decades of my life, I have done exactly that ... and more. Following the examples of my parents and grand parents, I have used my earnings to feed the poor, shelter the homeless, provide housing for the elderly and medical care for the sick..... and continue to do so .. and I'm not alone in that work.
WHAT I AM .. is someone who is paying for this announcement, at my sole expense, in hopes of opening the eyes of those led blindly by ill-informed elements of our great nation, who, through either ignorance, or malicious intent, repeatedly attack and belittle those of us who belong to a political party that holds true to the belief, "... the rights of the governed, exceed the power of the government." For those interested, I am speaking only as a tax-paying individual who is in no way associated with The Republican National Committee, nor with any of its directors, or delegates.
WHAT I AM .. is a man who understands, "the American way of life" is a message of self-empowerment for all.
WHAT I AM .. is an American who is grateful that our nation gives each of us the opportunity of self-determination and the right to benefit from the fruits of self achievement.
WHAT I AM .. is an American who wants to preserve that way of life for all who seek it.
WHAT I AM .. is blessed to be an American.... and proud to be Republican.

The Beginning
Some people believe that if, or when, we have a telescope (or some tool) powerful enough, we will be able to see back in time (into the past) and witness the Big Bang, or the Creation, or whatever.
I find it fascinating, that light viewed through a telescope, is actually old light. The further you see, the older the light. It makes sense to me, but does it really make any difference? We’re in the present, not the past.
If this tool had a pretty good zoom, could I see my birth?
Hell if I know, but I think about shit like this on Sundays.

I was just thinking. If there are 2 billion Muslims on planet Earth, and only 1% (20 million) aspire to murderous suicide / homicide acts of terror, we've got a long row to hoe. But it also means they need to come up with 1 billion, 440 million virgins.
Now, that's a bunch of hoes.

Wake Up Call In Tulip Land
And I'm not talking about organs.
As I've said many times before, radical Islam knows no borders.
..."We are a Dutch democratic society. We have our own norms and values," right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders told The Associated Press in an interview. "If you chose radical Islam you can leave, and if you don't leave voluntarily then we will send you away. This is the only message possible."...
..."If in a mosque there is recruitment for jihad, it's not a house of prayer, it's a house of war. If it's not a house of prayer, it should be closed down," he said...
I disagree, the mosque should be blown up, and everyone left alive should get the ole "two tap" to the head. Eventually, they will get the message.
Does that sound harsh? I don't care. These IslamoFascist terrorist pigs don't care, so, we must show these rabid scumbags the door.
The bottom line is this: This problem will not go away until we play by their rules. Since they have no rules, we can't either. To hell with the press, and to hell with public opinion...we must do whatever is necessary to win.
WHATEVER IS NECESSARY.
WHATEVER IT TAKES.
WHATEVER THE COST.
All said and done...we have a choice. Do we sacrifice the future of our children, or do we guarantee it?
To me, that's not a tough call.

Can You Really Charm A Snake ?
Our worst nightmare is a Nuclear Iran.
The media is downplaying reports that Iran is seeking a delivery system for its nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons it doesn’t have, yet? The mainstream media doubts the intelligence behind the statement made by Colin Powell, that Iran "has been actively working on delivery systems". I’m sick and tired of the media’s opinion. They should just report the facts; and the facts are that Iran is lying. They always have, and they always will. You cannot deal with IslamoFascist terrorist pigs. The foundation of their culture is built on lies, deceit, and oppression.
Britain, France, Germany and the European Union have struck a deal with Iran that is designed to stop the nuclear enrichment program. This is bullshit. Fact of the matter is…appeasement will not work with these savages. To them, appeasement equals more time to complete their projects. These scumbags have no honor.
The goal of radical Islam is to kill all the Jews, and kill everyone else who won’t convert. They want to rule the planet. Sorry folks, but it’s true. Where is the support from moderate Islam? Why won’t the “majority” of the “followers” of the religion of peace help? They must realize they’d be better off if they helped us remove the fanatics who oppress them. Or, do they secretly want us to fail?
You don’t get a second chance with a nuclear bomb. If there is any doubt at all, and I mean, any doubt at all, we should identify the targets, and conduct a preemptive strike. There is no other option.
Another question. Do you think Israel can handle the destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities alone, and can they win a full-blown war in the Middle East without the help of the United States? It might come down to that.

It Tastes Better If You ...
...just don't think about it.
******
The Brier Patch will be serving a little something different this year for Thanksgiving.
******
Take one large shark, gut and discard the innards, the cartilage and the head. Cut flesh into large pieces.Wash in running water to get all slime and blood off. Dig a large hole in coarse gravel, preferably down by the sea and far from the nearest inhabited house - this is to make sure the smell doesn't bother anybody. Put in the shark pieces, and press them well together. It's best to do this when the weather is fairly warm (but not hot), as it hastens the curing process. Cover with more gravel and put heavy rocks on top to press down. Leave for 6-7 weeks (in summer) to 2-3 months (in winter). During this time, fluid will drain from the shark flesh, and putrefication will set in.
When the shark is soft and smells like ammonia...
Seriously, when I was in Iceland I almost ate some, but to tell you the truth...I don't think you can get that drunk.

It's Seven Minutes To Midnight
That is, on the Doomsday Clock. Midnight is the END.
Here's the Current Time.
The Board of Directors of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has been moving the hands forward or backward, taking into account both negative and positive developments in the world, since 1947.
This might not be an accurate representation of a threat level, but I wonder where the hands go if Iran is allowed to go nuclear. At any rate, I'll bet the ranch, Iran's reactor never goes "warm".
Israel will not allow it. The U.S., under Bush, will not allow it. We should all thank our lucky stars Kerry is done.
Bottom Line: There will be some ordinance detonated in Iran, and then the shit is really going to hit the fan.
People are worried about North Korea...I am to, but I'm telling you, Iran is in the hot seat...for good reason.
During the Cold War, when the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction was born, the Soviet Union understood that it was a no win situation, a deterrent. This understanding is what kept everyone in check. I mean, they weren’t crazy...but the Iranian IslamoFascists are. Actually, it's not just the Iranians; it's all the radical Islamic extremists living in many countries. Their hate knows no borders.
All I’m saying is that Iran cannot be allowed to develop a nuclear bomb.

Iran Is A Problem
Reports are coming across the wires that Iran has agreed to suspend their uranium enrichment program.
BULLSHIT! They are trying to buy time.

Iran insists its nuclear ambitions are limited to generating electricity from atomic power plants, not making bombs.
If anyone believes this, they are crazy, and should support the United Nations. Iran is sitting on enough oil to run the country until the end of time. Iran is committed to first, the destruction of Israel, and second, America.
I believe Iran's time is short, with regards to its nuclear program.
Israel, and the U.S., cannot, and will not allow Iran to go nuclear. It's just not going to happen. The IslamoFascist terrorist pigs in Iran know this, and they are worried.
George Bush is still in the saddle, and this presents a huge problem for the radical mullahs. Their man Kerry would've put the ball back in the court of the U.N., thus allowing them to complete the project. It isn’t going to happen now.
I'm not a "warmonger", but I believe, sometimes, you have make tough decisions that will affect the future of mankind our children. This is one of those decisions. It should be done sooner, rather than later.
I am 100% for a preemptive strike to eliminate the threat.

Peterson Guilty Of First Degree Murder…
…with special circumstances. Yes!!! Now, they can execute his ass. Yes!!! I think they should make him construct his own concrete anchors, tie ‘em on himself, and then throw his ass into San Francisco Bay. Hell, they should haul him out in his own boat...and make him drive.
Asshole.

Very Cool
It was 29 degrees this morning, so I guess fall is finally here. My new ride has seat heaters, or heated seats…whatever…I can get used to it…that’s for certain. Although I haven’t tried it yet, supposedly there is another function that will re-circulate air through the motor, and keep the interior warm without the engine running. The owners’ manual book says it lasts for about an hour, or until the battery drops to nine volts. I haven’t really thought about it, but it’s probably good for a little grocery shopping, or a couple of beers on the way home.
Trust me, I will make an excuse to find out. It will be shopping though, because I don’t drink and drive. Seriously.

Behind Enemy Lines
My wife is in Kalifornia, out on the Left Coast, for about a week, and since she couldn’t fly with a handgun, I asked her not to get into any red state blue state discussions with anyone.
I also told her, “I wouldn’t even discuss Quiche.”
I do want her to return safe and sound, but, if she enters into any discussions on politics or religion with a blue state liberal, we’ve got a problem.
She will never back down.

Good News At Last
Chief Terrorist Yasser Arafat is now burning in hell.
Personally, I believe he died last Friday, and it took his cronies a week to formulate a plan to keep his rabid pig followers in line.
Among other things, they want to avoid a situation similar to what happened when the Ayatollah Khomeini died, and his coffin was paraded through the streets. Do you remember that? The savages worked themselves into such frenzy, they jostled his coffin, and his corpse slid out into the street. In the confusion that followed, his loyal followers trampled it.
It makes me sick when I hear him referred to as a statesman. He was a piece of shit terrorist pig, and that is all.
I wonder if they'll ever find all the money he stole from his people?

1000 Posts - Just Damn!
I missed it, but this was my one thousandth post. Not that it matters, but, when I started this blog, I never thought I'd write more than a post a day, if that. Now, in 389 days, I'm over a thousand.
And you know what? Number one-thousand could be considered radical. I don't care. I didn't plan it that way. I didn't even know it until after the fact.
I even got an Acidbath, if that makes any difference. They are painful hurt so good!

Hostages
The taking of hostages has always been a problem for me. Cowardly bastards who use hostages, or human shields, or whatever you want to call them, to further their cause, or make an escape, make me want to puke. There is no honor in this, but it must be dealt with.
The Merriam – Webster Dictionary defines hostage as:
1 a: a person held by one party in a conflict as a pledge that promises will be kept or terms met by the other party b: a person taken by force to secure the taker's demands
2: one that is involuntarily controlled by an outside influence
These “so called Fallujah hostages” are not controlled by an (2) outside influence. They are victims of their own misguided beliefs. It’s not like they haven’t had the opportunity to give up the bad guys. I call it a backfire.
In a recent post, I stated that we should level Fallujah, and kill everyone. My friend Jack asks a good question in the comments. I don’t have a definitive yes or no answer, but I do know that when IslamoFascist terrorist pigs take hostages, they have no intention of releasing them. There were no demands made. They are really not hostages, but already casualties of their captor’s radical beliefs. These pigs have no intention of releasing them, they are backed into a corner, and they know it. They are desperate.
So, what to do? Do we go slinking around buildings, through doorways and on rooftops…taking more casualties than necessary, or do we send them a message?
I say we send them a message. As I’ve said many times before, we’ve got to play by their rules, if we want to win. They slaughter their own people. We don’t. They are cowards who hide behind their women and children. We don’t. They know we will back off. We shouldn’t, but we will.
Maybe, just once, we should kill ‘em all, and see what happens. See if they get the message. It doesn’t have to be this way. They started it.
I wonder what would have happened, on November 4, 1979, when Iranian militants stormed our embassy in Tehran and took approximately seventy Americans captive, if Jimmy Dumbass Carter had issued this ultimatum, and followed through with it.
“We have B-52’s circling Tehran as I speak. We expect you to release all Americans within 24 hours, or we’ll bomb Tehran back into the 7th century. We are willing to kill 8 million people, as well as all Americans you have unlawfully taken into custody. The choice is yours. This is your final chance.
If that had happened, where would we be today? Better or worse?
We cannot negotiate with terrorists.
Jimmy Carter committed himself to protecting his own political future, not America's interests and prestige, much less the safe return of the hostages. He pursued a policy of restraint that put a higher value on the lives of the hostages than it did on the value of America.
One question.
As a civilian, would you sacrifice your life for your country?

A Level Message
Fallujah is isolated and surrounded. We've already told women and children, and anyone else who doesn't want to get killed, to leave. It is sealed off per request from the Iraqi government. Why should our troops go in and risk casualties fighting door to door?
I say we take to the air, and flatten the damn place, and kill everyone whose chose to stay. We need to show 'em the rules have changed. After all, they've been warned, and we have to assume everyone remaining inside is an IslamoFascist Terrorist pig.
They would do it in a heartbeat, if given the opportunity.
We will never make any progress in this war on terror (which we didn't start), unless we show them we can play by their rules. To hell with world opinion, lets do what is necessary to win.
I say we use conventional weapons, and make Fallujah go away. I would also make it known, that a Mosque is no longer a place to hide or store weapons.
We need to send a message to these people pigs.

Cool And Crisp
Today is a perfect day here in North Carolina. Cool, crisp, and lots of sunshine. Absolutely, the nicest day we've had this fall. Absolutely.
The pot of White Beans smells good. The Collard Greens smell good. My beautiful wife with soup-cooling lips is looking good. Our decision on whether to have "hoe cakes" or "cornbread" is all I have on my mind.
Also, my puppy, who is practicing final approach glides, is looking good.
Damn, I hope y'all are as content as me.
Life is good!
While I am content, and fat and happy; I would like to thank everyone in our military, and those serving overseas, for making this possible.
I mean that from the bottom of my heart!!!!!
God Bless you all.

Kerry Did The Right Thing
I'm going to say this one time, and one time only. It is time for all of us to move forward.
Kerry did the right thing. He acted like a gentleman when he conceded the election. Fighting it in the courts would have been disgraceful.
But, remember this:
He ran the most dishonest, disrespectful, negative, and hate-filled campaign in recent memory. He distorted or invented the facts on every issue. He played to the polls. He constantly switched sides.
John Kerry has no integrity.
That is all.

1000 Stuffed Animals
After I voted, I stopped in a U*S store to send a couple of packages. There were two young girls, and one adult, packing boxes full of stuffed animals. Big boxes, and lots of ‘em. Curious, I asked one of the young ladies, what gives?
She told me that she and some friends, with the support of her church, had organized a project to collect as many stuffed animals as possible, to send to the children in Russia who were victimized indiscriminately slaughtered by terrorists IslamoFascist pigs earlier this year.
There were over 1000 individual cards (one for each toy) written by each kid who had donated one of their animals to the cause, and each card was translated into Russian below the original message. She found a translator. Good job.
She was so proud. You know what? I am to.
Not bad for a small town in North Carolina.

2004 Presidential Election
I predict a win for George Bush.
The polls are all over the map, and I don't trust 'em. I say that because there is no way they could change so much every 24 hours. It's in the best interest of the left wing leaning mainstream media to project a close race. More TV time = more money = more people hear their biased views = they think they can help Kerry. I've never been polled, and I don't know anyone who has. I believe there will be a much greater turnout than in the past, and that will automatically invalidate the polls. The polls are voodoo.
I do not believe the majority of Americans will vote for John Kerry, or he will win the college. I am, of course, assuming that there will be no dead people casting votes, people multiple voting, or the likes of Mary Poppins voting. At least I don't want to believe that living, honest people could elect a man of his character as President of the United States. If he is elected, it will be a major setback.
If people are still undecided this close to the finish line, then where in the hell have they been? How could that be?
Whatever happens, I hope whoever wins, wins decisively. The last thing we need is another legal fiasco.
I could be right, or I could be wrong, but at least I have an opinion.

Calling Electoral Votes
From The Command Post, via NZ Bear.
Overview of how many electoral votes will be called at what times (all times Eastern):
* 7:00 PM - 58 Electoral Votes
* 7:30 PM - 40 EVs
* 8:00 PM - 171 EVs
* 8:30 PM - 6 EVs
* 9:00 PM - 159 EVs
* 10:00 PM - 20 EVs
* 11:00 PM - 81 EVs
* 1:00 AM - 3 EVs
If we presume a dead-heat race, the 270 EVs needed to win may not be met until 11 PM EST … and that presumes states won’t be too close to call, which I presume many will be.
