You Don't Vote - You Can't Bitch

I was stimulated by the comments on a post over at Gutrumbles, to offer my opinion about voting. I pinged it earlier, here.

By voting, even if you vote for the eventual loser, you can then absolve yourself from responsibility for all actions of the winner that you may disagree with. You can complain and bitch and moan all you want. You’ve earned that right.

I believe that if you do not vote, you should not complain about any actions taken by the winner or loser. You have not earned that right. You cannot have any opinions on any issues relating to the election, because, by refusing to vote, you forfeited your right to an opinion. Shut the fuck up!

If you vote for a (third party) candidate who has no chance to win, you’ve still earned the right to an opinion because, your vote affected the outcome of the election. You took a vote away from someone, and that counts. I don’t agree with that strategy, but it does count.

If you do not vote, you are part of the problem.

Religion Of Peace ?

I'm confused, and I'm pissed.

So far, today, the followers of the religion peace have been busy.

They detonated two bombs and murdered at least 15 innocent people in Israel. Over a hundred were wounded.

They detonated a bomb in central Moscow, killing at least 8 innocent people and wounding at least 20.

They murdered 12 Nepalese Buddhists in Iraq. One by beheading, and the others by multiple gunshots to the head. I watched the video, but I will not post the link.

The statement issued by the Army of Ansar al Sunnah reads:

"We have carried out the sentence of God against 12 Nepalese who came from their country to fight the Muslims and to serve the Jews and the Christians ... believing in Buddha as their God."

I have a good friend who is Nepalese, and a Buddhist, and he would not harm a soul.

What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Are we going to have to kill them all?

Is that possible, and if so, how?

Damn!!!

In The Meantime - Finish The Wall

IslamoFascist Hamas has claimed responsibility for double suicide homicide attacks today on two Beersheba buses whose death toll has risen to 15, with up to 100 injured. The two buses blew up on the southern Israeli city’s busy main street, Rager Blvd., hitting passengers, passing vehicles and pedestrians near town hall and Soroka hospital.

Everyone who died was innocent.

In the Gaza Strip, Muslim leaders praised the "heroic operation" — a phrase referring to homicide bombings — over mosque loudspeakers. "There will be no security for Israel as long as the occupation stands," said one of the leaders.

How does blowing up innocent men, women and children equate to a "heroic operation"? Coward scumbags.

Terrorist access from Mt Hebron to Beersheba is unimpeded by security barrier whose construction is held up for high court rulings. Terror alert elevated in all parts of Israel.

Israel must finish the security barrier, and start targeting Mosques. They must step up their policy of targeted assassinations, and destroy terrorist camps in border countries. For Israel to survive, it will have to ignore world opinion and do whatever it takes...however harsh that might be.

She Needs A Bitch Slap

Hillary Clinton, refering to the swiftboat veterans, on ABC's This Week:

"This attempt by the Republicans to smear a man of John Kerry's character and courage goes to the heart of their pathetic campaign"

Come on Hillary, you can do better than that. How about something a little more venomous? I know you can do it, you've done it before.

"You fucking Jew bastard." -- Hillary Clinton to political operative Paul Fray. This was revealed in "State of a Union: Inside the Complex Marriage of Bill and Hillary Clinton" and has been verified by Paul Fray and three witnesses.

Every time I see her pathetic ass on TV, I just want to reach in and strangle her.

What in the hell do people see in her? She is a lying sack of shit, and you know what? A Kerry win will probably end her presidential ambitions.

I'll bet that two-faced bitch votes for Bush.

My Stars Ain't Lined Up

My Wife's Birthday is in a few days, and as usual, I've ordered a couple of gifts online. The delivery truck arrives yesterday, and the driver gives the package (present #1) to my wife.

Same thing happened today with present #2.

Although she doesn't know what's inside; it eliminates the surprise factor.

I do this all the time, and have never been found out.

This time my friends....three will have to be the charm. I'll be wearing a ski mask when making my next purchase.

I'm going anyway, (that is unless they close downhill traffic) and if I need to break for cover early, so be it. I think it will make landfall in the Cape Fear, North Carolina area. But, what the hell do I know...I'll have another prediction tomorrow.

This really is a, fairly, large storm.

You never know, this far out, but North Carolina is a magnet for Hurricanes. We’ll be watching this one closely.

This is where we go. 34°12'40" North, 77°47'55" West (34.211194, -77.798636)

I have no crystal ball, but historically, these storms move to the northwest of the center line.

I Like This Democrat

From the Comments on this post:

Kerry totally sold out his brothers in Vietnam after he returned with those phony blown all out of proportion medals. As a Democrat, I wish I could vote for him but he is a traitor who should have been prosecuted as such years ago.

Maybe (hopefully) the election won't be as close as I think.

I agree; his medals are phony, he is a traitor, and he should've been prosecuted. I do not trust him.

I absolutely cannot believe that so many Americans (the press included ?) believe that Kerry can do a better job than Bush with regards to the war on terror and the future of America, and the world. That's right...the world...right, wrong, or indifferent, America is a Superpower...the world needs us...and that is just the way it is. That about covers it all. Remember, if we Americans are not secure internationally, any of our domestic policies will not matter.

This is not a "maybe / if situation"...this is a "yes / no" situation. Bush might not be the greatest, but electing Kerry is the worst possible scenario.

He will surrender all that I believe in, all of the values I was raised with, everything I've been taught, to a bunch of cowards who are afraid to take action for fear of offending other cowards who haven't a clue as to what the rules of the game are. The world has changed...we must adapt.

We did not start this...but, we must finish it...no one else can.

This, my friends, is the truth!

By the way...I am an Independent!

John Kerry Lied, Without Remorse

I really hate to keep posting about Traitor John (well not really), but time is short.

Excerpt:

...John Kerry lied. Without remorse. To advance his budding political career. He tarnished the reputation of his comrades when the military was out of vogue.
Now, three decades later, camouflage is back in the fall fashion line-up. Suddenly, Kerry's proud of his service, portraying himself as a war hero...

Eating Rainbows For Lunch

Where I grew up in Tennessee, we had many streams full of trout. We didn’t just go fly fishing for Rainbows, we went out to lunch.

We’d take a large cast iron skillet and all the ingredients for the best pan-fried trout I’ve ever had. After we built the fire, seasoned the skillet, and put the hoecakes on, we’d start casting flies.

Sometimes we cheated and used corn, but not often.

Anyway, we’d catch one; gut and fillet it, and immediately throw it in the pan while it was still wiggling. Now, that is some fresh fish, and a great meal.

Wash it down with some cold beverages, and we were good to go.

It’s All About Angles

stretch10.jpg

That’s my new puppy Stretch. Don’t let the photo fool you…He is fast fast fast, and can break on a dime. He can also jump about ten times his height, and dig a hole about half his length in 5 minutes. Do not underestimate him; he is fearless.

He cannot be caught single-handed; even two people can’t catch him. It takes three; you’ve got to reduce the angles.

You know what really gets me? When we’re staring at each other eye-to-eye, and he breaks to the left or right (I’ve even seen him break backwards), and I miss the grab and go sprawling across the lawn…he laughs at my ass.

Loss

I understand how the people feel who lost everything in Hurricane Charley.

Years ago, I lost EVERYTHING in an apartment fire. I mean everything. There was nothing left except ashes, and the barrel of my shotgun; which was bowed about 45 degrees. Now, that’s a hot fire.

I barely escaped with my life. My balls were burned (no permanent problem or scars there…thank God), my left hand was severely burned, and all the hair on my body was singed off, but I made it out alive. I saved another human life that night…the girl next door.

I will never forget the sinking feeling I had when the whole structure collapsed in a huge fireball. All my stuff was…gone. Gone forever. In an instant…gone forever.

I was in shock. I was disheartened, and I was sad. I didn’t know what to do, and I remember being very uncertain about the future. I remember forcing my way out of the back of an ambulance; why, I don’t know. I remember, trying to remember if someone who lived there was out of town. I knew everyone who lived there, and the head count didn’t tally. I remember all of the panicked people, including firefighters. Is there anyone left inside? Any children? Are there any pets? Can you remember?

It was Chaos.

I remember the crowd, and I remember their tears. I will never forget their tears, ever.

I remember waking up the next day at my parents; and when I realized it wasn’t a bad dream…the depression set in.

I thought I was done…the end…how can I ever recover?

But you know what, I was wrong.

When I went downstairs, I found my friends, and not only had they brought everything I needed (clothes, shoes, etc.), they brought their support and attitudes.

By late that afternoon I’d made one of the most important decisions of my life, and that was: FUCK IT, it doesn’t matter. I’m alive, and life is good. Everything can be replaced, except a life.

I’ve never looked back.

KERRY SHOWS HIMSELF --- TO BE A JERK

Link via DGCI

Thank You Neil Boortz.

Now this was probably the most transparent, idiotic, moronic and childish moment of the campaign thus far. When John Kerry was asked about President Bush's visit to Florida after the passage of Hurricane Charley, he had nothing but criticism. Kerry said that Bush should have waited to visit, because Bush's visit would divert the efforts of "first responders." There isn't an American alive with enough sense to operate a can opener who doesn't know that if Bush hadn't made a visit to Florida within a few days after the hurricane Kerry would be citing Bush's absence as proof that he doesn't really care about the people of Florida.

Slowly ... day by day ... John Kerry reveals to the American people just what a pompous, overstuffed, elitist jerk he is. Hopefully enough Americans will see the real Kerry before they make him our president.

I sincerely hope he is is right about that last statement. He is definitely right about Kerry being a JERK!

John Kerry Is Unfit, Period

Following is an excerpt from an interview with Van Odell, a gunners mate, who served on PCF's 93, 35, and 10. It was conducted by by Judson Cox,
16 August 2004, and can be read in it's entirety here.

...JC: What are the most important facts the voters should know about Kerry's service in Vietnam?

VO: He lied. He lied about his service. He lied before the Congress of the United States about atrocities committed by Vietnam Veterans. His "eye witness accounts" of rapes, murders and torture by Swift Boat sailors were fabricated, and tarred honorable veterans with a stain that still exists today. His entire career in politics and his campaign for the presidency is a lie...

John Kerry has no honor. John Edwards has no honor.

How anyone could vote for anyone who gets personal gratification from other people's misfortune is beyond me.

Kerry Is Lying...Again

Was John Kerry in Cambodia on Christmas day in 1968? I think not. He's lying, and the Left knows it. It seems to me, that his whereabouts should be verifiable through military records. His handlers know this. Where is the spin? When they do spin it, it will not be another flip-flop; it will be another bold-faced lie.

It amazes me how anyone could support a traitor like Kerry, who sold out his comrades in arms, Americans, for his own personal and political ambitions.

Take 1, Take 2, Take 3, that's a Wrap. The reenactment of missions is deceitful, cowardly, and intentionally misleading.

Kerry is all about deceit. Kerry is selfish, and cares nothing for anyone but himself. The only thing he’s proven he’s good at is…acquiring others peoples money, especially rich women.

Why would anyone trust this guy with his or her future?

He cannot lie about these statements.

Holding Patterns – Vectored

I’ve flown a gazillion times in my life, and never been diverted because of weather…and (I mean) I’ve flown through some badass storms, and had some bumpy ass rides.

Yesterday, I left AUS for a short flight to DFW. No problem. We took off from DFW heading for RDU. About 10 minutes from our scheduled touchdown in RDU, the pilot announces we’re in a holding pattern. “We’ve got some weather.” Now, I live about 50 miles from RDU, and by my calculations, I figure we’re circling right over my house. If I had bailed out, I would have probably landed in my back yard.

Anyway, after about 30 minutes of flying the pattern, the pilot announces that RDU is still closed, so we’re going to turn around and go to CLT. What he meant to say was, “People, I’m way low on gas, and I need to land this fucker pretty quick.” We’re about 10 minutes out, from CLT, and the pilot announces that we’ve “got some more weather, and we’ve been vectored again”. We did laps for a short time, at low altitude, and finally landed. We taxied to the gate, and an announcement was made that anyone who wanted to get off the plane could, but the airline was in no way responsible for transportation from CLT to RDU. Several people took ‘em up on that. At least they let us use our cell phones.

After three hours at the gate, and many more announcements, one of which said “We’ve got some gas now” (I knew I was right), we took off for RDU and landed without incident.

It was a hell of a day…funny thing though…we never experienced any turbulence at all.

I guess they don’t take any chances, and the radar is much better now.

No big deal…I’m home.

Kerry Quote

"On more than one occasion, I, like Martin Sheen in 'Apocalypse Now,' took my patrol boat into Cambodia. In fact, I remember spending Christmas Eve of 1968 five miles across the Cambodian border being shot at by our South Vietnamese allies who were drunk and celebrating Christmas. The absurdity of almost being killed by our own allies in a country in which President Nixon claimed there were no American troops was very real."

If you remember Nixon was not sworn into office until Jan 1969. Johnson was President in 1968.

The (D) party Is Gearing Up For A Loss

This is so wrong.

After Bush defeats Kerry, the Democrats are going to stoop to new lows. They are already planning their retaliation.

Excerpt:

"The U.S. is obliged to invite us, as all OSCE countries should," spokeswoman Urdur Gunnarsdottir said. "It's not legally binding, but it's a political commitment. They signed a document 10 years ago to ask OSCE to observe elections."

Thirteen Democratic members of the House of Representatives, raising the specter of possible civil rights violations that they said took place in Florida and elsewhere in the 2000 election, wrote to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan in July, asking him to send observers.

I don't know about y'all, but I for one, want absolutely no part of the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, or anyone else who believes that OUR problems can be solved with the help of these Socialist morons. This is not limited to, but includes the Democratic Party.

Kerry's Application For President

Hat Tip to Jack.

RESUME OF JOHN F. KERRY

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington DC, worth multi-millions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement:

I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

Military:

I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam. I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I?

My book "Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier" shows how I truly feel about the military.

College:

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS US Senator:

I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even TedKennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support ourmilitary and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country'sability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it.

I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected.

My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $ 700 million.

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. NIMBY.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

None.

PERSONAL

I ride a Serotta Bike.

My Gulfstream V Jet I call "The Flying Squirrel"

I call my $ 850,000 42 foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche".

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and you had better listen to it as it
reflects our real culture.

I own several SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

Dead Catsup Bounce

This is interesting.

Whatever the cause, Democrats are faced with this embarrassing fact: John Kerry received little or none of the projected post-convention bounce and even lost ground...

Good!

Thinking Too Much

I think so...

Key has a point.

Excerpt:

...The reason I fear too much information is because it clouds the real issue. Issues. Issues. Issues... Abortion, guns, religion, gay rights, poverty, education, taxes, freedom, wars...

Everybody has one, and many are so passionate about their adopted causes that they lose sight of what makes us special...

My friend is downtown with this post.

This Sucks

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which oversees preschool teacher training, curriculum standards and daycare accreditation, is good for American children and parents...except when they do stupid shit like this.

Excerpt:

What are you doing to protect your 3-year-old from the radical antiwar agenda?

Aggressive efforts by blame-America educators to indoctrinate college-age students are well-known. But even toddlers are not safe from peacenik proselytizers.

Example: The nation's largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators sells a teacher's guide that depicts the famed Blue Angels, our U.S. Navy's flight demonstration squadron of F-18 Hornet fighter pilots, as heartless killers threatening to bomb innocent American children.

This really really SUCKS!!!

Go check out the Blue Angels.

Sam... Sam Bond

I just realized that I can open and close the windows and sunroof of my car with the remote keypad. Now, I don't know why I need this functionality, but it's still pretty cool. I'll think of something.

Terrorism and Guerrilla Warfare

There is a great analysis of terrorism and guerrilla warfare at the USS Clueless.

(Captain's log): There may be few words today which are more politically important, more widely used, and less understood than the word terrorism. Even trying to come up with a dictionary-style definition for the term is not easy. Having every radical out there suddenly decide that their mortal enemies are "terrorists", in some way or other, doesn't help any. Nor is the situation clarified by supporters of terrorist groups who deny that they are terrorists...
