Yeah, they are nutz. I lived in Adana Turkey back in the 1960s for four years. Most of the Turks I met were nice enough and had a few pretty good friends. But when it comes to their religion they are touchy. Although Turkey is a secular state a lot of the 'back woods' Turks still hold to fundamental Islam..Fez and all. I avoided them like the plague on earth that they are.
