Four Values
Honor: is the evaluation of a person's trustworthiness. Can you keep an important secret to yourself?
Integrity: must be constantly proven over time. It is the basing of one's actions on principles and their honor.
Trust: is a moral value. It is someone in whom we can place our trust and rest assured that the trust will not be betrayed.
Loyalty is a combination of the above.
Betrayal is some Bad Bad Juju.
I'm just saying.

Brother Sam,
On the topic of Trust, long ago, I came up with what I think is the ultimate definition of the word:
Trust:
The Investment of Risk.
ex; If you put nothing at risk, be it a confidence, money or even your life, then no Trust is required in the transaction.
Delve deeply into your mind with the sublteties and nuances of that definition, and I daresay, you won't distill it into fewer nor more powerful words.
Beautiful, that.

I thought about it for a while, and came to the conclusion, I'm in the clear. I got all-a dose.
So dense, so stupid was I, that I did not give a single thought that this post might be directed at me...but upon reflection, it could only have been inspired by my egregious action in posting...well, you know what I did.
Bad, bad juju, indeed.
I am heartsick.
I done you wrong, my friend. I violated your trust, and I can only hope that you will find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to earn it back.
It wasn't me. I'm innocent I tell you.
Oh jeez. Guess I should have checked El's place before I made that flippant remark. I can't take this on so many levels right now. Please -- everybody kiss and make up. If one more thing I depend on to be constant in my life falls apart, I'm going to slit my throat.
And please Sam, let's see the master plan. I'm sure those of us lingering outside the inner circle will find it just as amusing in reverse.
