Scratch Pizza

We made one tonight. The dough / crust was absolutely perfect. The fresh Scotch Bonnets were, how do I say it...the hottest *^#$@!+_*^($@ damn things imaginable...If you don't hear from me tomorrow...I'm dead.

Eaten raw, these peppers are known to cause dizziness, numbness of hands and cheeks, among other things.

Does anyone know of anything hotter than a Scotch Bonnet?

Don't give me that Thai Pepper bullshit...that dog won't hunt.

Is there anything hotter? I do loves me an Endorphin Rush

I swear to the Maker.

Scotch Bonnets are about the hottest there is..... Habaneros, but they're essentially the same thing...

Get you some "Pure Cap" 100% Capsaicin. A couple of drops cooked in food is like a dozen Scotch Bonnets... I know where you can pick some up. Of course, you lose the nice pepper taste, but the heat is definitely there...

Well, it depends, there is a variety of the Habenero(of which the Scotch bonnet is a family member) called "Red Savina" that has been bred to be even hotter than normal - instead of the 250-300K that Hab's get to, the Red Savina varietel has been measured at almost 600,000!

being a good southern boy, I enjoy the hot 'n' spicy, but I'm not really much of a fetishist for the burning mouth and inevitable Ring of Fire a few hours later.

I sure would like to make some pizza, though. I haven't beaten dough in anger since moving to England. I desperately need a kitchen.

Post your pizza dough recipe!

I think you need to meet my hubby - he lives for crazy hot stuff (wink wink)...seriously though, we were in Halifax one time and he saw a store devoted completely to CRAZY hot sauces. He was in heaven. One of the sauces you had to sign a waiver if you bought it...

I like me some spice but not THAT hot!
