Ambushed
It was my post that started this comment war over at the Anti-Patriot Penguin. The fact of the matter is: I was ambushed. I put up a post, and Nebb disagreed with it. Fine. Instead of responding in my comments, he chose to put up a post for the world, slamming me. He did not notify me at all. I just stumbled upon it a couple of weeks later. His closing two words were “Fuck You!” I resent that, as I’m sure you would. I am a patriot, and I’m proud of it. Patriotism is not limited to America. I have never had a problem with England or her subjects. Never. I have many Brit, Aussie, and Kiwi friends. All I did was thank the American troops who have made sacrifices to protect my freedom. That is all. Asshole Nebb started this. I am a good person. I am loyal, and I am respectful, and I am not lazy. I just want to make sure we’re clear on this.

I thought his post was completely uncalled for, and I should have said so at the time. For whatever reason, I didn't say so at the time, so I'm saying so today: his post was completely uncalled for and sounded rather unhinged. Unfortunately, his is not the only unhinged writing I've encountered today, and the raving isn't coming solely from the left-wing moonbats. Yes, the Treaty of Versailles was a flawed document that in no large part was pushed through by our President Wilson (no suprise there, he was a liberal Democrat) but it was still a very workable treaty that could have been used to prevent Hitler's rise to military power had the BRITS and the frogeaters had the balls to enforce it.
