Spilled Wine
Do you know what happens when you spill a full glass of wine on your laptop?
Nothing good...I can assure you...dead as a doornail.
It is a good thing I've got a good backup scheme, or else I would be screwed...major screwed.

You do realize that spilling your wine constitutes abu*e of alcohol?... right? :)
I have a laptop that had apple juice spilled in it . . . despite being gutted and having had numerous bits replaced it has never quite run the same way.
Interestingly, it also simply will not run any form of Windows. It is a Ubuntu Beast . . . :)
I hope yours is fixable . . .
