Thinking Out Of The Box

For the sake of simplicity.

A B C D E F

I know a lot of people who can’t think out of the box. If they have to step through B, C, D, and E, to get from A to F, and there is a problem with one of the B-E’s, they can’t seem to make it.

This pisses me off. I have a hard time dealing with people with narrow minds. Use your imagination, think about it, and improvise. Nothing is ever certain, so change the rules if you need to.

Problem solving is a fact of life, and if you can’t solve ‘em, (for example) you’ll be managing fries in a fast food joint. Fries (A) cook for the same amount of time (B), every time. A to B, and B is the end.

Just a thought.

Anyway, I was thinking about problems, and I realized that I always solve 'em. Why is that? It's because I'm not afraid to think out of the box. I take nothing for granted, nor do I ever give up. I also realize that the solution is, more often times than not, unorthodox. There are many ways to achieve the same result, but if you can't think out of the box, you'll never know it.

If you can get from A to F without B - E, go for it, but you'll never know unless you can think out of the box.

Take a chance, after all; what do you have to lose?

Most of us CAN'T use our imaginations. Why? Because we're lemmings. We've been taught from the time we're tiny kids that following ABCDEF is THE way...the ONLY way...to get you where you wanna go. Even if it's over the cliff.

Yes, yes...

I am TRYING to teach this to my plan A personality rule-following Miss Priss. Plan B? Gasp! What's that?

Where did this child come from? Oh, God definitely has a sense of humor!
