Point A To Point B
I watched Bullitt (1968) last night, and the famous automobile chases made me remember some of the badass rides I’ve been fortunate enough to drive or own.
I can’t decide which one, was number one. If point A to point B is a straight line, that’s one thing, but if it isn’t, that’s another. Two choices.
Question for y’all.
What are your choices?

Point A to B is easy. My Pop's 68 Karmen Ghia. Had a 200 horse dry sump Super Vee motor in it backed up by a VW bus tranny. Stop light to stop light, it was unbeatable. I rode with him more than one time trolling for my buddies in their Trans Ams and Camaros to come out and play. He'd rev it up to 4 or 5 grand and when the stop light went green, BOOM, the American Iron would dissappear, only if momentarily, in the rear view.
Point A to B not being a straight line,,,,,,,,,,well then it is sitting in my garage. 1965 AC Cobra replica with a stroked small block. Blown away more than one SF Pennisula Ferrari with that car. 1900 pounds and about 425 hp to the rear wheels. V-8 go cart it is..........
Other than that, perhaps my uncle's Hemi Plymouth. There are others but time and space dictates stopping this now.
If Point A to Point B is along a busy road with speed limit signs, and taking the long way around is not busy and has little to no enforcement of the speed limit, I can either take a straight path and hope to get there in a couple of hours, or go the long way around, kill the tires, and get there in a half hour tops.
My choice is clear. A straight line in this day and age is NEVER the quickest path between A and B. Damned morning-and-evening traffic...
Maybe not too impressive is my list;
1965 Mustang, stock-white, red interior.
1961 Cad Coupe de Ville..as a junior in H.S., back seat as big as a stadium.
Favorites were the Plymouths...RoadRunner & Charger. Hell, all there was where I grew up was point A & point B.
