If I Pissed You Off...I'm Sorry
Y'all don't take this the wrong way....but, I've been bitching lately about this MUNU Blog Bullshit. Fact: the comments have no memory. Bad, but insignificant. I also understand that you have to be invited and approved for membership "under their umbrella?" Fuck That! I also understand that you have to include their blogroll on your site. Fuck that. Would someone please provide me the details, on why this is a good thing? I’m missing something. I also understand this MUNU is run off some server in Australia. Now, one of my best friends is from Canberra, and I have nothing but nice things to say about Australians, but why in the fuck would you run your blog on a machine half way around the world? Makes no sense to me. Sometimes you must pay to play. Am I off base?

Fact 1) MuNu is a totally free service, provided on a friend-to-friend basis. Fact 2) The hosting package Pixy Misa provides you with is AMAZING - tons of storage space, bandwidth, etc. Fact 3) Spam - non-existent for me (so far); handled centrally on mu.nu servers. Fact 4) YOU DON'T HAVE TO REGISTER A DOMAIN. Get it? Fact 5) The munu blogroll may seem like an imposition, but it helps a new blogger immensely to have instant linkage on that scale Fact 6) I think the whole Ellis Island thing is pretty all-inclusive - I've never seen the door get barred to anyone... I could go on and on. Yes, the comment cookie thing is annoying...but Pixy is providing free, REAL (read: Movable Type) blog accounts to all comers, out of the goodness of his heart.
