A First

I've been married for eleven years, and this is the first year we're spending Christmas together, alone. Just us and that damn puppy. All of our family lives out of town, and we're not going anywhere until next week. How cool is that?

We're dug in, and looking forward to the Christmas feast we'll prepare tomorrow, and a lazy ass weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but I also enjoy time alone with my wife. Anyway, we'll be scooting out next week to take care of our family obligations.

Peace and Goodwill to all.

"I also enjoy time alone with my wife"

That IS why you married her, isn't it?

:-P

I am very happy for you that you are able to spend that time alone with your wife. The little things mean the most.
