Today is a perfect day here in North Carolina. Cool, crisp, and lots of sunshine. Absolutely, the nicest day we've had this fall. Absolutely.

The pot of White Beans smells good. The Collard Greens smell good. My beautiful wife with soup-cooling lips is looking good. Our decision on whether to have "hoe cakes" or "cornbread" is all I have on my mind.

Also, my puppy, who is practicing final approach glides, is looking good.

Damn, I hope y'all are as content as me.
