Kerry Did The Right Thing

I'm going to say this one time, and one time only. It is time for all of us to move forward.

Kerry did the right thing. He acted like a gentleman when he conceded the election. Fighting it in the courts would have been disgraceful.

But, remember this:

He ran the most dishonest, disrespectful, negative, and hate-filled campaign in recent memory. He distorted or invented the facts on every issue. He played to the polls. He constantly switched sides.

John Kerry has no integrity.

That is all.

Well, Sam, I appreciate you pointing ou that Kerry did the right thing in conceding.

Unfortunately, I disagree with your characterization of his campaign, because from where I sit, Karl Rove and his ilk on the Bush team did exactly what you are accusing Kerry's campaign of doing.

The election is over. Is sniping how "evil" the other side ostensibly behaved going to get us anywhere? I suspect not. I think it's better to recall that we are ALL Americans, and we ALL have common enemies in the world that we best better figure out how to defeat, rather than trying to defeat our fellow citizens after they have already lost the election.

Jack,

That's what great about opinions, they are just that, opinions. I have mine, and you have yours.

We do agree that it is time for ALL Americans to move forward and work together on the problems that face us. All of us. Regardless of the election, we've still got one huge mess out there. The attempted solutions just might be a little different.

Also Jack,

Like I said, I was only going to say that once...and I meant it.

The election is over, and I'm not going to post about it again.

Amen, Sam. We need to pull together now as a nation and defeat the real enemy... those Islamofascist animals that slaughter humans like the pigs they so despise. I figure we might have two years to really get some work done in a bipartisan manner before the Dimocrats go back to their political sniping at the President in preparation for the '08 election. So let's make the most of it!

Well said, Sam. Well said.
