Whose Dog Is It?

Every time my dog puppy is in trouble, he is my dog. At all other times, he is her (my Wife's) puppy. As in, "Where's your dog?" as opposed to, "Where's my puppy?"

And you know what? He knows this.

I'm just saying...

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have TWO dogs. That's how I got around that problem. Usually only one dog gets blamed, so I've always got a dog no matter which one of 'em screwed up. The thing I'm still trying to work through though is that when they "leave you a present", they don't sign it and tell you who it's from....

This could work for you, since Stretch and the Fabulous Miss Puppy share a desire to chew anything, everything, any time, anywhere . . .

We are on Day 7 of Only Appropriate Object Chewing.

I believe it may be related to brushing her teeth. Perhaps the gum stimulation?

Anything The Boy does, she has to at least try once, so naturally, she eventually presented herself at bedtime in the bathroom in The Toothbrushing Position at the sink.

The Boy thought it would be funny, so I found an old Reach toothbrush, and the non-fluoride Baby Oragel Pre-Teeth brushing gel to use. She went berserk.

Everytime you even look like you might go into the bathroom, she assumes the position and whines.

And she hasn't chewed anything but chew toys in a week!

Knock on wood . . . I'm hoping it continues.
