Here in North Carolina, we just had some major red and yellow banders blow through. 50 MPH gusts, horizontal sheets of rain, the whole nine yards.
I don't know why, but I love a good storm. My yard doesn't though, looks like I was strafed.
We got slammed by Ivan pretty hard here in North Bama. Lots of trees down and debris all over the place. Winds gusts approaching 60 mph. I didn't think my Bradford pear tree would make it through the night, but by the dawn's early light, she was still there!
