Ah, I need to get some photos of my '98 740i. It too is an awesome pice of machinery and can also do 140 all day long and in fact was designed to do so.

I fear though from what I'm hearing on the "street" that BMW and Mercedes quality and reliability is sliding -mostly due to the socialist mindset taking over German industry. It destroyed the British car industry and it may do so with the German's.
