I was a shitty student. I managed to bullshit my way through having read very little of the assigned reading.

Of course I regret it now. I hate that there was a time in my life when I actually had time to read, but I didn't take advantage.

I remember enjoying A Farewell to Arms. I liked that one enough to read every word, rather than purchase the cliffs.
