And here you have it

So, Congress is complaining on how long Bush’s war is taking but consider this: It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation. It took less time to find evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records. (They conveniently appeared shortly after the statute of limitations had run out.) It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to storm the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sunk at Chappaquiddick. It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida.

That's good.

I will put it out there in the blog world every chance the subject comes up. I'm a Floridian. There were three independent groups who counted EACH vote in all of Florida's counties, not just the questionable votes. Bush won by more than the official 500+ votes.

Under the state law at that time, if a recount is demanded, ALL votes must be recounted in the whole county, not just the rejects. Gore only wanted the rejects counted because the good ballots were in Bush's favor.

I've kept track of the Florida Supreme Court Judges who tried to re-write the Florida voting laws. The two to be voted on for continuation in 2002 were okay. But there'll be more up for a continuation vote in 2004. We are waiting for them, a chance to kick the illiterates off the Supreme Court of Florida. Yes, that's right, we can vote to not continue their reign of liberalism and their rewriting of law. Florida is a moderate/conservative state.

Thank you for my soap box time.
